“The family that prays together stays together”
~ Venerable Patrick Peyton

The Easton Knights of Columbus encourages devotion to Mary, the patroness of our Order, and emphasizes the importance of prayer in community and as a family.

“The Rosary is the most excellent form of prayer and the most efficacious means of attaining eternal life. It is the remedy for all our evils, the root of all our blessings. There is no more excellent way of praying.”
~ Pope Leo XIII

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization, with over 2 million members and 17,000 councils globally. Founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, it provides financial support to Catholic families through a large insurance program, engages in extensive charitable works, and promotes fellowship among Catholic men.

The Knights of Columbus embody faith and charity by practicing “Faith in Action” through a wide range of charitable works, including food drives, support for mothers, and aid to those in need, all while growing their spiritual lives and providing for their families through fraternal benefits. KofC activities are deeply rooted in Catholic teachings and principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

We are Catholic men who lead, serve, protect and defend. We share a desire to be better husbands, fathers, sons, neighbors and role models and to put charity and community first.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, and who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church.
